David Sarlah Receives NSF CAREER Award
David Sarlah has been selected to receive a Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award and grant from the National Science Foundation to support his research program. The prestigious award provides up to five years of funding to junior faculty members who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education, and the integration of education and research. Professor Sarlah's award is based on his research: New Dearomative Methods and Strategies for Organic Synthesis.
Professor Sarlah received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Ljubljana in 2006 and his Ph.D. from the Scripps Research Institue in 2011. NSF Award
